I'd loved to play all kinds of video games, so keyboard and mouse is not enough for me, I bought many controllers in past few years, many of them was abandoned, I keep only I liked. Here's my best practice now:
On the screen things I'm an old school, so prefer to a 4:3 ratio screen in common life, this is the most fits my head and eyes. I also have a side monitor for movies or playing video games, of course, it's a 16:9 screen, but sadly not support 2K or 4K. As the image on the right said: The best view for a human being is 15 degree. So mostly I don't use the side screen.
